Job Description
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the organization's human resource and administrative functions. The role includes manpower planning and workforce allocation, managing the complete recruitment lifecycle including manpower approvals, candidate sourcing, background verification, salary negotiations, and appointment formalities. The incumbent will oversee employee onboarding, induction, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exit processes while coordinating the organization's performance appraisal system. The position also involves planning and executing employee training and development programs, driving employee engagement, welfare, rewards and recognition initiatives, handling employee grievances and disciplinary matters, ensuring compliance with company policies and standing orders, maintaining employee records and HR documentation, and developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
The Human Resources Manager will verify salary processing for permanent employees and contract labour while administering employee benefits such as health insurance, leave, medical benefits, provident fund, and welfare schemes. The role includes coordinating employee insurance and benefit programs, monitoring employee benefit requirements, and recommending improvements to enhance employee satisfaction and organizational effectiveness.
The position requires managing statutory registrations, renewals, licenses, and regulatory filings related to the Labour Department, Factories Department, Employees' Provident Fund (PF), Employees' State Insurance (ESI), Commune Panchayat, POSH compliance, and other applicable statutory authorities. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with labour laws and employment regulations, represent the organization during inspections, hearings, conciliation proceedings, and labour court matters, and effectively manage industrial relations and legal compliance activities.
The Human Resources Manager will maintain HR documentation in accordance with internal, external, customer, and statutory audit requirements while ensuring systematic filing, retrieval, and preservation of employee records. The role includes coordinating documentation for audits, inspections, and compliance reviews to maintain organizational standards.
The role also encompasses planning and improving administrative procedures and office systems while overseeing housekeeping, security, canteen operations, scrap disposal, office maintenance, vendor management, contractor agreements, office supplies, procurement activities, and administrative expenses. The incumbent will organize office events, employee welfare programs, renovation activities, and infrastructure improvements while ensuring effective communication and coordination across all departments.
In addition, the Human Resources Manager will handle HR and administrative requirements for new projects, coordinate office infrastructure and employee facilities, arrange IT resources, monitor company assets, and ensure the smooth functioning of organizational operations. The role also includes coordinating management training programs related to recruitment and interviewing, performance management, promotions and terminations, workplace safety, and POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment). The successful candidate will mentor, coach, and guide employees and team members while coordinating visa processing and FRRO formalities for overseas employees and performing any other responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, labour laws, statutory compliance, legal compliance, communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, leadership, team management, organizational and multitasking abilities, problem-solving, analytical thinking, project management, office administration, facility management, HR policy formulation and implementation, employee engagement, performance management systems, audit documentation, compliance management, and FRRO procedures for overseas employee visa processing.
Candidates should possess an MBA in Human Resource Management as the minimum educational qualification. Applicants with an MSW or LLB will be preferred. A minimum of 15 years of relevant Human Resources experience in the manufacturing sector is required.
