HireFly is a website that should work across common browsers and screen sizes without asking visitors to install a dedicated application. Its foundation uses familiar, widely supported web technologies. Technology choices are made to support useful job pages, clear navigation, maintainability and performance rather than to add complexity for its own sake.

PHP and server-side development

PHP supports the server-side portions of HireFly, allowing pages and job information to be prepared before they reach a visitor's browser. Server-side development is carried out with attention to validation, maintainability and responsible handling of information. This public overview intentionally does not describe private architecture, system configuration or security controls.

HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript

HTML5 gives each page a logical structure so headings, navigation, main content and supporting information can be understood by browsers and assistive technologies. CSS3 provides HireFly's typography, colours, spacing, cards and responsive layouts. JavaScript is used where interaction is helpful, such as mobile navigation, while essential informational content remains available in the page itself.

Responsive and accessible design

Responsive web design allows the same content to adapt to phones, tablets and larger screens. Layouts, readable line lengths, touch targets and navigation are considered together. Accessibility is an ongoing practice, including meaningful headings, visible text, understandable links and support for keyboard and assistive-technology use where possible.

Search and structured information

Search-engine optimisation helps public pages communicate their subjects clearly through descriptive titles, summaries, canonical addresses and organised content. Structured data may be used to help search services interpret appropriate page information. These techniques support discovery; they do not guarantee a particular ranking or search result.

Performance and quality

Performance optimisation may include efficient page assets, suitable image formats, careful loading behaviour and avoiding unnecessary third-party libraries. Testing, debugging and quality-assurance tools help identify broken links, syntax problems, display issues and inconsistencies before changes are published.

Content management and automation tools may assist with organising information, repetitive checks and routine publishing work. Automation is used as support, not as a substitute for responsibility or judgement.

Responsible use of AI assistants

AI assistants, including OpenAI tools and Codex, are used selectively for web technology, coding guidance, testing, formatting, research organisation and quality improvement. These tools can help with repetitive or technical work, but their output can be incomplete or incorrect.

Co-owners Hariprasad C and Aswathi A V remain responsible for published content and technical decisions. AI-assisted material is not treated as automatically accurate or as a substitute for an official source.

As COO, Aswathi contributes to the website's methodology and information structure. Hariprasad's HR experience informs employment-focused content. Sensitive or private operational information is not intentionally exposed in public explanations.

Security and privacy

Secure server-side development and responsible data practices are part of maintaining a public web service. For safety, HireFly does not publish database details, passwords, credentials, private system paths, API keys, deployment secrets, internal security settings or administrative locations. A public technology page should explain the general approach without providing information that could weaken users or systems.

Visitors can read the Privacy Policy for information about privacy practices. Specific security concerns should be reported privately through the contact page, without posting sensitive details publicly.

Continuous improvement

Web standards, browsers and user expectations change. HireFly may update its tools and development practices over time while preserving a simple experience for visitors. The measure of a technology is not how fashionable it is, but whether it helps people find clear information, use the website safely and complete their task with less friction.
