Who operates HireFly
HireFly is a partnership jointly owned by Hariprasad C and Aswathi A V and based in Kannur, Kerala 670571, India. The partners are responsible for the website and the information submitted directly through its current forms. Privacy enquiries can be sent through the contact form or to [email protected].
Scope of this policy
This policy applies when you browse hirefly.in, contact HireFly, create a Candidate or Employer account, maintain a profile, submit a vacancy or apply for a job through HireFly.
Many job pages direct visitors to an employer, recruiter or third-party application destination. Information you give directly at that destination is governed by that organisation's privacy practices, not this policy.
Account and profile information
When you use Google Sign-In through Firebase Authentication, HireFly may receive your name, email address, Google/Firebase authentication identifier and available profile information needed to establish and secure your HireFly account. HireFly does not receive or store your Google password.
A Candidate profile may include name, age, total HR experience and a résumé or CV. It may also include application records and Candidate details captured when applying. An Employer profile may include company name, website, state, location, company email, phone number, submitted job postings and application-management information. HireFly may send a one-time code to verify access to the Company Email; this confirms access to that address and does not by itself certify the organisation or its representatives.
Information you choose to provide
The contact form receives your name, email address, optional phone number and message. This information is stored so the enquiry can be reviewed and answered.
Authenticated Employers may submit vacancy and organisation information for review. Application email addresses, phone numbers, URLs and other vacancy details may be published when a submission is approved.
Please do not send passwords, one-time passwords, bank or card credentials, unnecessary identity documents, or other sensitive information through these forms.
Information collected during browsing
Web hosting and server systems may record technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as an IP address, request time, requested page, browser or device information, referring address and error or security events. The exact records available can depend on the hosting environment.
HireFly loads Google Analytics to understand general website use, such as page visits and traffic patterns. Google Analytics may process device, browser, interaction and approximate location information and may use cookies or similar identifiers. You can read Google's Privacy Policy and use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Cookies and similar technologies
Analytics services may place or read cookies to distinguish visits and measure use. The website also uses session technology in account, administrative and form-processing areas where needed for authentication, security and workflow messages. Browser controls can block or remove cookies, although doing so may affect some features.
No Google AdSense code was identified in the current public project during this review. If advertising technology is introduced, this policy and any required consent controls should be updated before or when it is deployed.
How information is used

Applications, disclosure and third parties
When a Candidate applies directly through HireFly, HireFly stores the application information and a protected application copy of the résumé. The Employer responsible for that job can access the Candidate's application details and résumé through its Employer dashboard. Other Employers are not given access through this feature. For email-based applications, HireFly may send the Candidate's application and résumé to the job's stated application email.
Information may be processed by providers that support authentication, hosting, analytics, email delivery or other website operations, subject to their services and terms. HireFly may also disclose information when required by a valid legal process or where reasonably necessary to protect users, the website or others.
Published job information is visible to the public. Employers should submit only application and vacancy details they are authorised to publish. HireFly does not state that it sells users' personal information.
External job and application links
HireFly does not control employer career sites, recruitment portals, email providers or other linked services. Review the destination, its privacy notice and the information requested before continuing. HireFly cannot control how a third party handles information you send directly to it.
Retention and security
Account and profile information, résumés, applications, contact enquiries, job submissions and operational records may be kept for as long as reasonably needed to provide the relevant feature, manage requests, maintain records, prevent misuse or meet legal obligations. No single retention period is stated because the purpose and record type differ. Information that no longer has a reasonable operational or legal purpose should not be retained indefinitely.
Reasonable safeguards can reduce risk, but no internet transmission, database or storage system is completely secure. HireFly therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You can limit cookies through browser settings, use Google's analytics opt-out tool, choose not to submit optional information, and review a third party's policy before applying. To ask about information submitted through HireFly, request a correction or raise a privacy concern, use the contact page or email [email protected]. A request may require enough information to identify the relevant record and confirm that the requester is authorised.
Children and changes
HireFly is not designed for children to submit personal information independently. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the site, contact HireFly with enough detail to locate the record.
This policy may change when website features, service providers or legal requirements change. The updated date on this page indicates the latest revision. Material new data uses should be described clearly rather than hidden in unrelated wording.
