How this calculation works
Present days and, when selected, approved leave days form attended days. The total is divided by total working days and expressed as a percentage.
Formula used
Attendance % = counted attended days ÷ total working days × 100.
Practical example
With 22 working days and 20 present days, attendance is 90.91%.
Important considerations
- Approved leave treatment differs by organisation.
- Present plus leave cannot exceed total working days.
- The status message is informational, not a policy decision.
Frequently asked questions
Does approved leave count automatically?
Only when you select the option to include it in attendance.
Can present days exceed working days?
